Love to hear that Fearne Cotton had a hypnobirth, yayyyyyyyy 🙂
Fearne Cotton has opened up about her ‘natural and drug-free’ birth experience with baby girl Honey Krissy
Fearne Cotton, 34, and her rocker husband Jesse Wood welcomed their second child on 9th September.
Taking to Twitter, the radio DJ and TV presenter shared her happy news with fans, writing: “Jesse and I are over the moon and buzzing with love, as our baby daughter Honey Krissy Wood came into the world this morning.”
And now the normally private mum has opened up about her ‘euphoric’ hypnobirthing experience on Facebook.
Fearne, also a mum to two-year-old son Rex, wrote: “Love my yes mum cards from @theyesmummum who brilliantly guided me through hypnobirthing before my big day.
“Having a natural, pain relief free birth was the most intense and euphoric experience ever.”
The proud mum continued: “My first birth was a different story so I’ve experienced varying sides of birth and I’m glad for both.
“Although all we want is a healthy baby I think we should remember how amazing the female body is and the strength of a woman.
“Obviously there is no right or wrong birth and they can be magical in many ways I just feel blessed to have had this experience thanks to hypnobirthing.”
Hypnobirthing involves self-hypnosis, relaxation and breathing techniques that expectant mothers can use instead of pain relief during labour.
